Stand-up comedian Nasra and her husband, Director Rashid, have revealed that they are expecting their first child.
The soon-to-be first-time parents could not conceal their excitement as they shared the news on their respective social media platforms.
Nasra, a comedian with the Churchill Show, turned to Instagram to express her joy at the prospect of becoming a mother. After learning she was expecting, Nasra said she fell in love with the human she was carrying right away.
In the picture, Nasra is seen holding a dipstick, a device women use to test for pregnancy at home, while Rashid has been captured from behind hugging his wife.
"This is the happiest I have been in a long time. I'm in love with a human I haven't met yet… can't wait to meet you my baby… imagine having a child with the love of your life. I love you @director_rashid, Vid up on Nasrashid," Nasra Yusuff shared.
Director Rashid said he had been waiting for such news for the longest time, and now the journey has begun.
Director Rashid wrote; "I have been waiting for this to happen for a while and Finally Allah has made it happen alhamdulillah 🙏🙏 I Can't wait to meet you my baby 😍😍😍 You will be cute like your mother😘 @nasrayusuff ... I love you 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍,".
Nasra expressed optimism that Rashid would be an excellent father to their child, stating that he had a long wait to become a father.
"I think you will be the best father ever like for real. This guy has been waiting for this moment for the longest ever," she shared.
The celebrity pair also said their fans would be invited to accompany them on their pregnancy journey.
Rashid, a director, actor, and also a comedian, proposed to Nasra in February of the same year, and she wasted no time in sharing the exciting news on social media.
