Artist David Mathenge, popularly known as Nameless, has shared a heartfelt post on social media, eulogizing his late friend and fellow artist E-sir, 20 years after his untimely death.
Nameless and E-sir were close friends in the early 2000s and collaborated on several hit songs.

He expressed his gratitude for the "true synergy and authentic friendship" they shared, which produced amazing results that have lasted for generations.
In his post on social media, Nameless went on to say that E-sir was an inspiration to many, and his life and work had a lasting impact on him and the music industry.
He also asked his over 1.6 million fans and followers to comment on the post, letting him know their favorite E-sir song, as they celebrated the late artist's 20th anniversary.
"Fam, what was your favorite E-sir song as we show some 20-year love to South C's finest," Nameless wrote, using the hashtags #20yearEsirAnniversary and #EsirHatuchekiNaWatu, which translates to "we don't play with people" in Swahili.
E-sir, whose real name was Issah Mmari, was a rising star in the Kenyan music industry at the time of his death.
He released his debut album, "Nimefika," in 2002, which featured hit songs such as "Boomba Train" and "Moss Moss."
His legacy lives on, and he is remembered as one of Kenya's finest and most talented artists.
