Nigerian singer Davido has cleared most of his Instagram posts, leaving only a few that include his partner Chioma and his late son.

The move comes after the tragic death of his son, Ifeanyi, who allegedly drowned in a swimming pool at Davido's Banana Island mansion.

Since the tragedy, Davido and Chioma have remained silent on social media, only sharing a few select posts.

Among the posts that Davido left on his Instagram page was a photo of his World Cup performance in Qatar, where he wished his followers a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

"Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you all. I love you!" Davido wrote in the caption.

Davido also removed his profile photo on Instagram, leaving fans wondering about the reason behind his actions.

Following the tragic death of his son, eight domestic workers were arrested, six were later released, and two were still being questioned at the time of this report.

Davido and his fiancée Chioma were away from home when the incident occurred.

The move by Davido to clear most of his Instagram posts has left fans speculating on whether he is preparing for a new project or simply wants to have a fresh start.

Nonetheless, his decision to leave the few posts that include his late son and partner Chioma has touched the hearts of his followers, who continue to offer their condolences and support.
